Do you want to be a part of pioneering quantum computing in a world-class quantum ecosystem in the heart of Copenhagen? We are looking for crystal growth scientists who will be a part of building a next generation foundry for quantum processor manufacturing.
Quantum Foundry Copenhagen is a newly founded company, owned by the Novo Nordisk Foundation (NNF), aimed at developing next generation Quantum Computing Processor technologies.
Our mission is to establish a foundry capable of manufacturing quantum processor units using novel UHV methods that meet the extreme requirements for purity and precision that are needed to bring Quantum Computing to scale.
We are a growing team of talented and diverse international professionals. We are located adjacent to the Niels Bohr Institute in the heart of Copenhagen.
We are part of a vibrant and growing Danish quantum ecosystem and collaborates closely with world-leading researchers in the NQCP quantum computing program that will facilitate and drive research and innovations at multiple levels – from developing scalable quantum processor technologies to solutions for the quantum-classical control and readout interface, and all the way to quantum algorithms and applications.
We are looking for two experts in epitaxial crystal growth of quantum materials to join our innovative team. The roles involve developing ultra-pure and high-precision manufacturing processes for advanced materials. You will collaborate closely with the Tools Development Team, Platform Integration teams, and international partners on the development of innovative chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) processes.
The positions require strong cross-functional collaboration and teamwork, with the level of responsibility tailored to your experience and background. Joining our team offers opportunities for professional growth and collaboration with leading experts in different quantum computing platforms.
Depending on your experience, your main responsibilities and tasks will include:
We strive to be a world leading foundry and offer competitive salaries along with the many benefits of living in Copenhagen – one of the most livable cities in the world. Benefits also include health insurance, pension scheme and a chance to contribute to a dynamic and innovative team.
We work closely with researchers and scientists to develop new technology but as a company we do not publish research. The level of the position and the scope of responsibilities will be based on experience and background.
You may have several years of experience and want to work at the cutting edge of technology. You can see new solutions to problems and work with your colleagues to help Quantum Foundry Copenhagen become one of the leading quantum foundries in the world.
Your qualifications include:
You are driven and self-motivated, keep focus on pace and outcome and inspire others with your constructive and collaborative workstyle.
Your colleagues would describe you as analytical, structured, and curious. You are a team-player and work to develop the best solutions with input from highly skilled colleagues in interdisciplinary fields.
