Our background

Manufacturing processes for the future

Quantum Foundry Copenhagen develops new manufacturing processes for the future generation of quantum computing processors. Based on ultra-pure atomic scale precision, we develop wafer based integrated circuits of highest quality including superconducting, semiconducting and photonics components. In close collaboration with the NNF Quantum Computing Programme (NQCP) at the Niels Bohr Institute, we will speed up the development of fault tolerant quantum computing.

Owned by the Novo Nordisk Foundation

Quantum Foundry Copenhagen is owned by the Novo Nordisk Foundation and open for collaboration with partners that can benefit from our technology. At Quantum Foundry Copenhagen, we are dedicated to advancing the field of quantum computing through our expertise in atomic precision and ultra-high vacuum (UHV) manufacturing techniques. Our commitment to atomic and isotopic purity sets the standard for reliability and performance in quantum computing hardware.

How we work

Enabling the future of high performance quantum processors

01

Ultra-high vacuum

Our ultra high vacuum approach maintains atomic purity and precision in chip manufacturing.

02

Interdisciplinarity

With an interdisciplinary mechatronics approach we combine relevant scientific and industrial disciplines to enable quantum processor development

03

Data-driven

Data is the backbone of everything we do – disciplined data management leverages the power of data in all our development efforts.

Quantum Foundry Copenhagen

NNF Quantum Computing Programme

Quantum Foundry Copenhagen is part of the Novo Nordisk Foundation Quantum Computing Programme (NQCP) located at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen Denmark. The mission of the program is to enable the development of a fault tolerant quantum computer.
